A person has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries following a crash in the Coromandel this morning.
The crash happened on State Highway 25 Thames Coast Rd, north of Thames, shortly after 5am, a spokeswoman for St John Ambulance said.
One person suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Thames Hospital, she said.
OneNews reported the crash happened when a car slid down a cliff at Whakatete Bay.
