At least one patient is in a serious condition after a road accident north of Auckland this morning.
Police Northern Communications Centre Shift Inspector Chris Tate said emergency services arrived at the scene on Kahikatea Flat Rd, Helensville about 8.35am.
"It appears a vehicle has gone through a fence and into a tree," he said.
It was not clear if more than one vehicle was involved, or how many people, but Mr Tate said one person was initially assessed as being in a status two - meaning serious - condition.
The crash was near the intersection of Rapson Rd.
