One person has been airlifted to hospital after the ute they were in rolled at a beach north of Auckland this afternoon.
Emergency crews, including a rescue helicopter, were called to a spot at Shelly Beach, Helensville, after reports a vehicle had rolled and people were injured.
Northern fire communications shift manager Scott Osmond said one person suffered leg injuries and had to be taken via helicopter to hospital.
The accident happened just after 12.30pm.
