One injured after truck goes off road near Ohakune

One person is in hospital after a truck went off the road in the central North Island this morning.

A Fire and Emergency spokesman said they received reports just after 3am that a truck had run off State Highway 49 near Ohakune.

Nobody was trapped in the vehicle but the driver had been taken to hospital, he said.
