One person is in serious condition after the car they were in hit a barrier and crashed on a motorway in Auckland tonight.
Police were called to the scene of the incident, on the North Western motorway in Eden Terrace, at 8.20pm.
Two other occupants in the car have minor injuries.
The three patients have been rushed to Auckland Hospital, a St John Ambulance spokeswoman said.
Witness Andrea Binning said the car was on its side with "smashed out glass" when she drove past.
