One person has been flown to hospital after suffering serious injuries when their vehicle collided with a milk tanker in Wairarapa this morning.
The crash happened on State Highway Two at west Taratahi, between Masterton and Carterton, about 8.30.
A police spokeswoman said a person travelling in the vehicle was taken to hospital by helicopter in a critical condition. They were believed to be the only occupant of the vehicle.
The driver of the milk tanker wasn't injured.
The crash has closed that section of SH2 and diversions are in place while investigators are at the scene.
