One hospitalised after Rangiora blaze

One person has severe burns after a house fire in Rangiora, North Canterbury, last night.

The person was initially thought to have died in the blaze which happened at about 9.20pm yesterday.

The person has been taken to Christchurch Hospital.

It is not known how the fire started.
