One dead, two injured in Taranaki crash

One person is dead after a three-car crash in Taranaki tonight.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the corner of Andersons Road and Mountain Road (State Highway 3) at Eltham, 50km southeast of New Plymouth, at 6.17pm.

One person died in the crash and two others were taken to Taranaki Base Hospital, Inspector Ken Climo of police central communications said.
