One person has died in a crash in south Auckland this morning.
Emergency services were at the scene of the crash on Alfriston-Ardmore Rd, in Ardmore, Papakura, where a car crashed into a pole shortly before 8.15am.
One person died at the scene, police said.
The road has been closed while emergency services work to clear the site. Diversions have been put in place at the intersection of Alfriston-Ardmore Rd and Alfriston Rd, and at the intersection of Alfriston-Ardmore Rd and the Papakura-Clevedon Rd.
The serious crash unit would investigate.
