One person has died following a crash involving two cars and a truck in Canterbury this afternoon. The crash happened on Gardiners Road shortly before 4.45pm.
Canterbury police said the driver and sole occupant of one of the cars was confirmed as deceased at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck was uninjured.
The driver and sole occupant of a second car was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries.
The death has been referred to the Coroner who will determine the cause of death.
