One dead, five injured after car rolls and catches fire in Central Otago

One person has died in a car crash on Tarras-Cromwell Rd, Bendigo, in Central Otago.
A police spokesman said it appeared that a car rolled and caught on fire just after 3pm.
Five people were able to escape the car but one person, who was trapped in the vehicle, has
died.
One person is understood to have moderate injuries, while four others have minor injuries.
A helicopter was sent to the scene and has taken the person with the most serious injuries to Dunedin Hospital.
