A person has died after a vehicle incident in Ohaeawai, in the Far North.
Police said the incident involved a single vehicle on State Highway 12, but the details of what happened are unclear at this stage.
Police were advised of the incident around 9.30 this evening.
Cordons are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
