A person died in a car crash in Hawke's Bay last night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, on Te Aute Rd in Pukahu, just outside of Havelock North, at 7.15pm.
Hawkes Bay District Health Board spokeswoman Anna Kirk said three woman had been transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital.
One in her mid 50s is a critical condition in intensive care. Another woman in her late 20s is in a serious condition in intensive care. And another woman in her late 20s is in a serious but stable condition in intensive care.
Police had cordoned off Te Aute Rd between the intersections of Longlands Rd East and St Georges Rd.
