One person is in a critical condition after a crash near New Plymouth today.
Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 3/Devon Road at about 1.20pm.
One person received critical injuries.
Hato Hone St John said it sent an ambulance and rapid response unit and took a patient to Taranaki Base Hospital.
The road was blocked until the vehicle was towed.
