Olympic Gold medallist Hamish Carter will be the guest speaker at the Wairarapa Times-Age 2014 Sports Awards.
Carter, an official ANZ ambassador, is a New Zealand triathlete who won gold in the 2004 Summer Olympics.
ANZ branch manager Wendy Morrison said it was "outstanding" that ANZ was able to bring Carter to Wairarapa.
"We're just so pleased he's coming here."
Tickets are now on sale for the Sports Awards from the Wairarapa Times-Age offices at $45 each or $400 for a table.
