Saturday's premier division grand final rugby match between East Coast and Masterton Red Star at Memorial Park will do more than decide the winner of the Tui Cup for the 2009 season.
Also up for grabs is the honour of being the highest points scorer in the grade with the two combatants there being East Coast fullback Nick Olson and Masterton Red Star first-five Byron Karaitiana.
According to Times-Age records Olson will go into Saturday's game with 182 points to his credit.
These have come though 11 tries (55pts), 17 penalties (51pts) and 38 conversions (76pts).
He holds a slender six points advantage over Karaitiana whose 176pts are made up of two tries (10pts), 38 penalties (114pts), 23 conversions (46pts) and two dropped goals (6pts).
