A fourth man charged with murdering a 35-year-old dairy farm worker at Elderslie, North Otago, last week, has been remanded in custody by consent to the High Court at Timaru.
The 22-year-old Oamaru man has interim name suppression and was dealt with by registrar's adjournment in the Dunedin District Court this morning.
He is charged jointly with Steven Kenneth Boskell, 18, of Palmerston; Ryan Warren Geary-Smart, 23, of Oamaru; and a 22-year-old Oamaru farm hand who has interim name suppression, with murdering Justin Conrad McFarlane on September 11.
All of the accused were remanded to next month.
