The NZ Transport Agency has begun legal proceedings against an Auckland taxi company for failing to meet the legal requirements for taxi operators.
The agency says it cannot comment in detail on the issue involving AA Yellow Cabs.
Company director Abdul Qudoos says the firm has already addressed issues highlighted by the agency earlier in the year.
NZTA says it will review any submissions made by the company and will make a decision on how to proceed in the new year.
