A 24-year old auctioneer, said to be able to speak for 30 seconds without pausing for breath, has won his second auctioneer of the year title.
Daniel Coulson, Bayleys national auction manager, has once again put the competitors under the hammer to win the title of Real Estate Institute of New Zealand Auctioneer of the Year - the youngest ever winner.
Mr Coulson, who has sold homes on The Block NZ, came up against three other finalists who used all of their wit, banter and skills to impress the crowd and judges within a replicated auction environment.
While he admits being "obviously very proud," he paid special thanks to the more experienced auctioneers who have helped him over the years.
Mr Coulson will now compete in the Australasian champs in October, which he has already won twice before.
