The New Zealand Rugby Union is assuring Lions management and fans the security situation is under control ahead of the final test against the All Blacks in Auckland.
Deputy CEO Steve Tew has met with Lions officials following the London bombings and insists there is no suggestion the plug could be pulled on the final test.
Tew says the NZRU's thoughts are with the Lions fans, players and their families.
Lions team spokeswoman, Louisa Cheetham, said the team did not yet have a lot of information about the blasts other than what had come through the media.
However, she said they had not heard of anyone in the touring party with friends or relatives killed or hurt in the blasts.
She said no decisions had been made which may affect the team as a result of the terror attacks.
"That is why we are meeting this morning. It is a matter of getting clarity of information, what is happening and if people have concerns, making sure they are receiving all the information."
Some of the Lions have reacted to the London bombings through their newspaper columns back in the UK.
New test fullback Geordan Murphy says he has been frantically making calls to friends and family based in the city, and the news puts everything into perspective for the team.
There are three London based players in the 22 for Saturday night's test against the All Blacks, including born and bred Londonder Josh Lewsey.
