NZer killed in Croatia bike crash

A New Zealander has died in a motorbike crash while holidaying in Croatia.

Benjamin Joseph Gilby-Todd, 23, had been living in London for the past two years and had met his younger brother for a sailing holiday in Croatia, the Waikato Times reported.

The former Waikato University student was a passenger on a motorbike with his 20-year-old Croatian friend when they hit a wall in Zrnovo, on Korcula Island, early Thursday morning.

Mr Gilby-Todd was killed instantly while his friend was seriously injured.
