KEY POINTS:
PERTH - The relatives of a New Zealander seriously injured in an accident in Perth are travelling to his hospital bedside.
The 23-year-old was a passenger in a Mazda hatchback which crashed into the wall of a local business after the 19-year-old driver lost control of the car in wet weather about 9.15pm yesterday in the Eastern suburb of Bayswater.
Police said driver had minor injuries but his passenger sustained serious head injuries and remained in intensive care at a Perth hospital.
Inspector Trevor Davis said the New Zealander's relatives were on their way to WA to be by his side.
