An Auckland man is hoping to become American actor Charlie Sheen's right-hand man.
Anthony Gardiner has made it through round three of Sheen's social media intern hunt - an international competition offering one person the chance to join "TeamSheen" as Sheen's "social media TigerBloodIntern" for eight weeks.
The 31-year-old was one of 84,000 people to apply for the job, with the pool cut down to 250 after three rounds.
The first round asked applicants to explain why they would be suited to the job in 75 words.
"As a Twitter addict I was well rehearsed in writing smack with as few characters as possible," he told NZPA.
He then had to submit a brief about his work experience - which included running the New Zealand Army's social media for a year.
The latest round asked applicants to submit a video on why they would be best for the job.
"It's very long and boring, so I've provided an alternate ending for people that get sick of listening to my voice which is dubbed over with Doobie Brothers and Mario Brothers music."
If he made it through this round there was only one final shortlist to go but he did not know when that would be, he said.
"I want to win now, I want to go the (United) States, I want to spend two months hanging and partying with Charlie Sheen."
Mr Gardiner made headlines in 2009 for giving away a $5000 engagement ring in a scavenger hunt, providing clues to its whereabouts through Twitter.
However, he said he had not mentioned this in his application, and did not plan to.
"I figured they would Google search me and that would come up."
He said his boss was happy for him to take two months off work if he was chosen and he would be well behaved while he was over there.
