A New Zealand woman on her dream OE to London, has been found dead in her office on Saturday.
Police are investigating the murder of Cathy Marlow, 28, at the office block of her research company on South Lambeth Rd on Saturday night, just before 10pm.
The Sun reported that Ms Marlow was killed in the office showers.
Police are appealing for reports of people acting suspiciously or with bloodstained clothing in the vicinity between 1.30pm and the time her body was found.
It is believed she was killed between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
The man who alerted police was still in the building when officers arrived, the Sun reported.
Police arrested the man, 28, after they found blood on his clothes.
Ms Marlow was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body is yet to be formally identified.
Forensic officers were examining the scene yesterday. A post-mortem examination is yet to take place.
Ms Marlow went to Taradale High School and worked for accounting firms before leaving for London in 2004.
Friends say she has a social and sporty person who loved to travel and had been living her dream in London.
She had been working for Research Now, which carries out studies for large research agencies and corporate clients, as a finance manager.
Chief executive Chris Havemann told the Sun: "Cathy was a lovely girl. Were all devastated. She was friends with many colleagues and we are all very upset. She will be sorely missed."
