New Zealand Post's across-town mail service will now take longer to reach their destination.
Under new adjustments to the mail processing network, the standard post service will have a nationwide delivery target of three working days for all destinations.
The current delivery target is the one working day for deliveries within the same town or city.
The change will come into effect next month.
