A busker usually found on Auckland's Queen St has had her song made into the official anthem of the New Zealand Olympic team for the London game.
Sam RB was today announced the winner of a nationwide competition which called for musicians to write a song that would inspire the Olympicians.
About 25,000 people voted on more than 300 entries.
The winning song, Stand Tall, reflected the struggles and determination required to overcome challenges as well as Sam's own pride in New Zealand, the New Zealand Olympic Committee said.
Sam said she was humbled by all the votes for her song.
