A young Timaru man hit by a bus in London remains unconscious in a critical condition in hospital.
Daniel Tiplady, 24, was struck by the bus in Shepherds Bush, West London after spending the day with friends at the Oxford-Cambridge boat race on the Thames River last Saturday.
His parents, Maureen and Kevin, flew to the United Kingdom this and are now at his bedside.
Mr Tiplady's aunt Loretta Dean said yesterday there had not been much change in the last 24 hours.
"They are doing everything they can for him. We are just waiting for more news. Everyone is on tenterhooks," she told The Timaru Herald.
