NZ gets readers' vote in UK travel magazine

New Zealand has been voted second-best country in the world to visit by readers of the Conde Nast Traveller (UK) magazine.

The awards follow a vote by 30,000 readers of the magazine.

Italy was named top country, with a score of 95.57 out of a possible 100, followed by New Zealand (94.81) and Australia (94.44).

Conde Nast Traveller (UK) has a circulation of about 85,000.
