New Zealand Michael Jackson fans in three of the main centres have gathered to remember the king of pop.
The memorial services were held yesterday in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Organiser Rose Van Wylich says New Zealanders needed a place to say goodbye.
She says living so far away from Los Angeles, it was important people could gather together to support one another.
Ms Van Wylich says fans who attended the services placed flowers, sang his songs and spoke about what an amazing singer Michael Jackson was.
