NZ artists shine in Venice

Two New Zealand artists have had international success at a top Italian art exhibition.

More than 114,000 visitors saw Judy Millar's installation, Giraffe-Bottle Gun, and Francis Upritchard's Save Yourself at the 53rd International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia.

Creative New Zealand said yesterday that as a result of the show both artists had been invited to other international exhibitions and art fairs.
