KEY POINTS:
A New Zealand Defence Force Iroquois helicopter evacuated a sick Australian soldier from a remote outpost in East Timor on Wednesday night.
The soldier, who had breathing problems, was recovering well yesterday. The aero medical evacuation was the first to be carried out by RNZAF 3 Squadron since arriving in East Timor last month.
