A man involved in a crash that killed a Rotorua mother and her baby will do 150 hours' community work for criminal nuisance.
Leon Kristopher Smith, 28, was originally charged with three counts of dangerous driving, two causing death and the other injury.
On Thursday the charges were replaced with one count of criminal nuisance by speeding and endangering the public's safety, to which he pleaded guilty.
