Photos of Carmen Thomas embracing All Blacks Ma'a Nonu and Anthony Tuitavake are among pictures the missing Auckland woman posted on her Facebook page.
Ms Thomas, 32, described by police as an escort, was last seen on July 1. She was not reported missing for nearly two weeks, when she failed to collect her five-year-old son who had been staying with friends, and her Nissan Pulsar car was found in Hamilton on July 17.
The Sunday News today published photos from Ms Thomas's Facebook page showing her kissing Nonu's cheek and with her arm around Tuitavake. Both sportsmen appear happy in the photos, which were labelled ``great night out!!".
They were uploaded on September 22, 2008.
Investigation head Mark Benefield confirmed police were "aware" of the photos, the newspaper said.
"... there are several photographs of her on it [Facebook] in the company of people from all walks of life," he said.
"As far as we know at this stage of the investigation, there is nothing sinister in any of the photographs posted by Carmen on her pages."
Ms Thomas's mother arrived in New Zealand from South Africa on Friday and has talked to police.
"Carmen's mother is understandably distressed and will use the next few days to recover from her journey," a police spokeswoman said.
