A shop in Whangarei sold two winning Division One Lotto tickets of $166,667 in Saturday's draw as Northland's amazing run of Lotto success continues.
Patels Foodmarket on Kamo Rd in Kensington sold the winning tickets - its second-biggest win after the shop sold a $250,000 Instant Kiwi scratchie in October.
"All sorts of people come and go because this is a very busy stretch of road so I can't say whether the winners are locals or out-of-towners," shop manager Priti Patel said.
"This is the biggest Lotto win this store has had which is good for the local community. I hope the winners are locals because the money stays in the local community.
"It's going to be a good Christmas for the winners."
