Northland man drops off son, cotinues to elude police

The son of a Northland man police have been seeking since Saturday has been safely delivered to relatives in Auckland.

Police issued an alert when Wiremu Morris fled with his 11-year-old son during a domestic incident at his Mangonui home on Saturday morning.

Sometime between Sunday afternoon and yesterday morning Morris dropped his son off but he has continued to elude police.
