Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a commercial building in the North Shore suburb of Rosedale this morning.
The fire broke out at 7.40am at office equipment company Pitney Bowes on Constellation Drive.
Six fire crews battled the fire at the two storey office warehouse, said Jaron Phillips, shift manager at the northern fire communications centre.
"Firefighters brought the fire under control pretty quickly and managed to contain it to the ground floor so we've been able to scale it down."
Mr Phillips said one person was in the building and managed to get out before fire crews arrived at the scene.
A fire safety officer would now investigate the cause of the blaze.
