North Shore assault trial

Four young Glenfield men accused of violent assaults on the North Shore more than 18 months ago will go on trial on Monday.

Piri Valli Kirton, 18, Harlem Haynui Kirton, 19, Jono Paul Wilson, 20, and Ruaumoko Taiapa, 21, face charges relating to incidents in January last year.

Two couples were attacked while they relaxed at Milford Beach and another assault took place on Takapuna Beach.
