KEY POINTS:
Business at Auckland's Greenlane Hospital is back to normal after a fire in a computer room.
This morning elective surgery before 10am was cancelled but general manager of operations Ngaire Buchanan said less than five operations were cancelled and they will be re-scheduled "as soon as possible".
She said scheduled surgery will now take place as planned for the rest of the day.
No one was hurt in the fire that is believed to have started in a computer switchboard at the Greenlane site at 430am, Ms Buchanan said.
She said IT services such as lab results and radiology images were temporarily unavailable but staff began accessing them manually.
She said IT services are now running on alternative power but full power will be restored tonight.
