A jury has been unable to reach a decision in the trial of a woman charged with sexually violating a teenage girl.
Raelyn Daryl Hayman, a 44-year-old housewife from Stratford, pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual violation and indecent assault relating to alleged offences against a 13-year-old girl at Putaruru in April 2003.
The Rotorua District Court was told Hayman allegedly got the girl drunk and stoned before sexually violating her.
Hayman has been remanded on bail to reappear on May 4 when another trial date will be set.
The trial, which lasted 1-1/2 days, was before Judge Phillip Cooper.
