No sale for Brooke

Former All Black Robin Brooke's $950,000 five bedroom Tauranga home failed to sell at an auction this week.

There were no bids.

Brooke and his family are expected to move to Auckland in the next few weeks, before he takes over the Warkworth New World supermarket on August 9.

Police are "assessing" allegations that Brooke had sex with a comatose and drunk 18-year-old after an All Blacks test in Christchurch in 1998 and then paid her $1500 to keep quiet.
