No progress from preschool two years after funding

A church-run preschool in Porirua is yet to be opened more than two years after the project received more than $400,000 from the Ministry of Education.

The delays in the project have brought calls for the ministry to put in place better mechanisms to hold community groups more accountable for the Government funding they receive.
