Rugby star Sonny Bill Williams has not laid a complaint with police over the burglary at his home.
Waikato police district spokesman Andrew McAlley said police had an address of interest but no complaint under Williams' name.
Someone else from Williams' address could have laid a complaint, Mr McAlley said.
Williams took to Twitter to vent his frustrations after coming home from beating the Bulls 28-22 at Waikato Stadium on Friday night.
"Another good win from the brothers, too bad I got home to find my house was robbed. Thank God no one was hurt," he tweeted.
