Three teens accused of holding three young men at knifepoint and forcing them to drive around Wellington for five hours are yet to enter a plea for charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery and grievous bodily harm.
The defendants, aged 14, 15 and 17, appeared in court in the Hutt Valley today.
The two younger members of the group appeared in the Youth Court. The eldest of the three is having his case heard in the Hutt Valley District Court.
Police said three men - aged 18 and 19 - were sitting in a car in the Lower Hutt suburb of Wainuiomata when they were approached by three other teenagers about 8pm on Saturday.
One of them allegedly threatened the victims with a screwdriver and made them drive around different parts of the Wellington region for the next four or five hours.
