A woman had a lucky escape when her car rolled and crashed into a parked car last night.
She crashed on Renall St just before 6.30pm, forcing the closure of the road between Pownall St and the railway lines.
Masterton Fire Station officer Garry Neilsen said the young woman escaped the crash with minor injuries and was taken to hospital to be checked out.
Two fire appliances, two police cars and an ambulance attended the scene.Mr Neilson said it appeared the car had rolled and hit a parked car. "They were out of the car before we got here."
One Renall St resident, who didn't wish to be identified, said her family was eating dinner when they heard a loud bang and scraping noise outside, giving them a "hell of a fright".
