There have been no reports of any New Zealanders caught up in the Moscow airport bomb blast, according to the New Zealand Embassy there.
Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully said the embassy had been contacting New Zealanders registered with the ministry as being in Moscow and had no concerns any may have been present when a bomb exploded at Domodedovo airport yesterday.
Mr McCully expressed his condolences to the people of Russia on the attack which killed 35.
Prime Minister John Key would also be writing to Russia's President Dimitri Medvedev with condolences on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand, Mr McCully said.
