The Kiwi Party has announced it will not be standing any candidates in this year's General Election.
Instead the members of the party have joined the new Conservative Party for the election, said party leader Larry Baldock.
"The new Conservative Party has many similar policies to those of the Kiwi Party," Mr Baldock. "And the response we have had from the vast majority of our members has encouraged us to work with this party.
"Several Kiwi Party members, having joined the Conservative Party, will now be standing as candidates including myself and the deputy leader, Simonne Dyer."
The Conservative Party was launched by former Auckland Council mayoral candidate Colin Craig in August.
