Police investigating yesterday's sudden death of a 17-month-old Invercargill infant are today remaining tight-lipped about their inquiries.
The death happened at a house in Wallacetown, north of Invercargill yesterday, according to a short police statement.
Today, forensic officers and detectives are carrying out a scene examination of the property.
A cordon remains around the house.
But police are not giving any further details.
