No charges will be laid in relation to the death of a man who was struck by a taxi in Wanaka in September.
Coen van Rosmalen, a Dutch national, died after he was struck by the taxi in Beacon Point Road about 3:30am on September 14.
Police said after a thorough investigation no charges would be laid against the driver of the taxi.
Police said shortly after the incident that there had been a suggestion from witnesses that Mr van Rosmalen was lying in the road before he was struck.
His death has been referred to the coroner to rule a cause of death.
