The standard Nissan GT-R can lap Germany's famous Nurburgring in 7min 26.7secs - the heavier "rapid response" version takes an extra 30 seconds to cover the 22km circuit.
Still impressive, considering the specially prepared GT-R carries an extra 200kg of fire-fighting equipment.
Nissan gave the two-door supercar to the race track's governing body. With a foam reach of around 18m and a 20m hose, the unit will be able to fight fire for around two minutes on one tank.
