Nine cats die

A cat hater is being blamed for the poisoning of at least nine cats in the Napier suburb of Pirimai.

The cats had to be put down after eating anti-freeze, which leaves them lethargic with limited mobility, dilated pupils, no appetite and no control of bodily functions.
